Good morning to you all and first off I would like to thank Althea for the link of the Wafield show.That run was the last time I saw the Dead on the west coast having to move back east ,anyway I did catch 3 out of the 15 shows and the acoustic sets were such a treat. Now for my d/l problem,I pick a show d/l it and it turns up on my i-tunes list and works but there are no song titles only a line of code of some kind. Now please be patient for I'm one moron when it comes to this machine and don't ask me what system I'm running all I ned to know is this common or should titles come up like they do when burning cds.

does the code you see have the date of the show or achive.com/download/gd.....

It sounds like you are streaming it through itunes, not downloading. You can't download boards from here

itunes....yuk! It's probably because the files are converted to MP3 for itunes. Only share or trade Lossless files

itunes only converts if you tell it to; you can use WAV or other formats...

I have had no problems when dloading shows to iTunes. I keep all my music in an external drive and just have iTunes add the folder each GD show is in and it comes up no problems. I have found though that sometimes the info is not done from an upload maybe and I have had to go back and manually add each song title. Is this what you are asking about or am I way off base with your question?
